Best carne asada fries, hands down. Haven't had any better. The fries are super crispy and thin cut, and the steak is cooked well! I come here at least once a month with my husband and every time it's delicious. The staff is also so kind and welcoming!
Tried Armando's in Riverwalk for the first time, and came out with 2 great meals! Ordered a burrito, chips and guac, pollo asado plate, and a churro. Everything was delicious, and I was shocked at the portion size of the #19 plate. While in the restaurant, other customers mentioned how delicious the fish tacos are, so I will be returning soon to give them a try! The staff was extremely nice and patient as I was reviewing the menu, and the food came out promptly after ordering! Tons of parking in the Riverwalk shopping center.
Breakfast burritos are so good and great customer service always friendly. Such a convenient location.
Go to Mexican cuisine for the area Where we go when we need fully Mexican flavors. No more beer though.
Been here a few times over the past years. I like to try to leave a review after dining at the restaurant more than once because trying a new place for the first time can always be a fluke. The first time I came I had there special burrito which was below expectations, but I decided to grab a breakfast burrito w chorizo now it's a consistent thing of mine before work. Their carne asada tacos are very well and the short lady who is always in the front is very friendly. Good hidden place with excellent service
Exactly what I wanted simple, authentic, well sized burritos. The salsa bar was great and the habanero salsa was amazing!
I was staying at a nearby hotel and wanted Mexican food. The hotel receptionist told me this place was just around the corner within walking distance. When I first saw it I thought there is no way. WAY! The food was delicious and the quantities were with substantial with very reasonable prices. While I waited for my to-go food, many others came to order or pick up already placed orders. LARGE bags of food went out the door. I ate there a second time and was not disappointed. Unfortunately I can't find my receipts to list the food but I do know the chips and salsa were plentiful and delicious!
Carne asada. Every bite. My eyes roll in the back of my head. The street tacos. The salad. Tonight I went in and they gave me two extra pollo asada street tacos and my kids inhaled them. I love stopping by here. It's my go-to when I want a good meal. I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and I can tell you this is good Mexican.
